SCCU Wage Theft Action

On Tuesday, April 30, some canvassers from the IWW Sisters’ Camelot Canvass Union confronted their managers about missing wages. At the time they were turned away from the Sisters’ Camelot office and told that they should contact the bookkeeper. After making several phone calls and texts, the bookkeeper informed the canvassers that she could not help them retrieve the missing information. On Thursday May 9, the canvassers returned to collect that information. Here are the most pertinent clips.


Noam Chomsky’s Statement of Support

Author, activist, and MIT Professor Noam Chomsky released this statement of support for the SCCU. Note that he refers to the unionized workers as “Sisters’ Camelot,” instead of attributing the organization to the managing collective.
